Noise Lens

Anybody reading this should go check out www.noiselens.net

My friend Nathan and his buddy Sam have been working very hard at putting together this amazing blog that serves as an artistic/musical outlet for anyone who wants to be a part of it. It keeps the conversation open for anything related to music or art. Right now there are several music reviews, band interviews, and photos including one of my own.

I'm trying to get as many people to join because as someone who lacks a bit of inspiration at times, it's nice to talk to other people about things, find ideas, and get some feedback on my own work.

Believe me. It's an awesome site.

Moving on to other things. I edited one of my pictures from two weeks ago of the girl in plaid and fur. That's a lie because I really edited several of them. I wish I had kept the before and afters of all of them but I forgot to "save as copy" on photoshop and ended up overwriting some of the originals. Here are some though.

Here's a before and after:

Terrible lighting and everything. I would have trashed this picture if I hadn't been in such a good mood for editing today

cropped and lightened and all sorts of fun!

another one that's just too dark

Also, this past week I have been falling in love with the fall foliage. It's finally happening! The leaves are turning a more reddish hue and floating through the air like magic. I love autumn so much. Once I have a little more time, I'd really like to go around my block and snap as many pictures as I can. I hope I catch it before the storms blow away every single leaf. During my run today, everything looked so picturesque and perfect. I wish I could carry around a camera while running cause I get too tired to go back out once I'm done.

I did manage to snap this picture on my home from work. There's this abandoned factory in Fairfield, NJ that I would love to do a shoot at one day.
