I forgot how much I had listened to Blind Pilot during my summer trip to Europe. Watching them at the Bell House last night brought back so many feelings of freedom and summer and I was instantly reminded of the smells and sounds of train travels through Spanish fields and Swiss mountains. It's great how powerful music is. I watched as they played "The Story I Heard" and realized that tears had started running down my face.
The show was amazing. I took some pictures for Noise Lens and should be conducting an email interview with Blind Pilot soon. The new additions to their band are the nicest people ever. And to top it all off the opening bands were equally as entertaining and beautiful to listen to.
What a good night. Even if I ended up spending $100 thanks to having to hitch a cab home to North Jersey from Hoboken. I need to move to New York asap. There are some wonderful people.
